There are usually no fees involved either which is great for people who want to work from home, but do not have the start up fees involved like a home based business. Basically, affiliate marketing is where you promote other people’s products or services and get a commission off each sale. A few popular affiliate networks are Clickbank, PayDotcom and Commission Junction. You simply join one of these networks for free and select which product or products you would like to promote and grab your affiliate link. The next step would be to promote your affiliate link all over the internet to gain visitors and sales. Affiliate networks normally pay you either by check or paypal at least once a month, some pay bi-weekly and some even instantly. Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money and you can start right away.

Bazaar

Christmas season is coming. The best opportunity for business is participating in bazaars. You can sell whatever things you like. It can be gift ideas for christmas, clothes, flowers, and furnitures. But before deciding to have one, make sure that you have enogh budget to buy your things to sell. Then, get a supplier or buy your things to re-sell. You can ask the bazaar organizer to partcipate their event. You will just need one or two helper in guarding your stall. You can start early as December. There are lots of early Christmas shoppers now.

Freelance Writing

I have a full-time job on the weekdays.I hang out with my girlfriend on thursdays and fridays. When i get home from work, i get on websites like ninerniner.com, associatedcontent.com and textbroker.com and do some freelance writing. I set up a paypal account and all of the money i get from those websites goes right into that account. It’s good money on the site. Depending on when the sites accept the writings, you can get roughly 30-70 bucks a day. I write 2-3 articles a day for one site, and i blog 2-3 times for another site and its very time consuming. I gotta go to work at 1:30 today and i am trying to get as much money on the side as possible so i can afford my laptop.

Forum Booster.

There is this site called forum booster that pays you $0.10 per post that you make in a forum. However the downside is that they assign you your forum topics, but its no biggie. Honestly, I am a big fan of Associated Content, don’t get me wrong, but you have the ability to earn more money here on Forum Booster than on Associated Content because you can easily earn more than $5.00 per hour, It doesn’t take that long to post to a forum. It takes too long to sit there, research the article, write it, edit it then submit the Article to AC. So give this a try, I will post more on this site when I have more time.

My Online store

Online selling is really a hit, I’ve been selling stuffs since last year and its my 1st year anniversary. Selling stuffs is also hard. Being an online seller is also stressfull. You could have at least 99.9% of your patience everyday for
1. answering questions
2. inquiries and telling your products information
3. for those buyers who dont pay there reservations.

I still don’t have that kind of buyer as of the moment and hopefully I will not encounter one of them.

Pet Bathing Side Biz

A friend of mine asked me to bathe her dog. She was feeling ill and the dog really stank. She gave me a little bit of money for helping her out. About a week later, another friend asked if I could help bathe a stray kitty she found. Same thing, I got a little bit of money.

I put an ad in the local paper that I would assist with pet bathing. Since then, I get calls for dogs, cats and even a ferret. This is a good side biz because there is no startup cost. Also, you can just let a few people know and work as little or as much as you want to.

Bunny Business

I was amazed at what a demand there is for bunnies. Dwarf bunnies seem to do the best. People like to have a small bunny such as the Holland Dwarf or the Netherland Dwarf bunnies to keep as pets.

One neat thing about bunnies is that you can litter box train them. That’s right! Put their little pellets in a small litter box filled with scoop litter. The bunnies will naturally go to the same spot. They are rather picky about their potty area and very easily litter box train.

Instead of raising bunnies to sell, it is easiest to purchase them wholesale. Find a breeder that already has lots of bunnies and use them to get your stock. This will enable you to keep a steady supply and make a nice profit. There is a huge amount of work that goes into breeding and it can get costly. So it’s easiest to simply buy your stock to re-sell.

Make Money Completing Offers?

One way to “make money online” that is becoming more and more popular is get paid to complete “free” offers. The way this works is after signing up you get to see a list of offers you can complete. In some offers you get money in your balance instantly and others it might take 2 days or more so they can verify that you follow all the steps to signing up for a certain offer.

Different offers might be join poetry.com and write a poem or two, joining get paid surveys and more. Other offers could include signing up for a credit card. Once approved and you make a purchase you can get $50 or more, and some offers are worth over $100 if you sign up.

I tested out some of these offer websites to check them out and from day one noticed the instant downside. First while they claim “free” offers, not all are free. Some like the surveys are free in the sense that you sign up and you get 50 cents when you do, but unless you create a special email address you will start getting tons of email to do surveys.

Others are actually free trials but they consider that free. Firstly, they want your credit card number when you sign up. However if you sign up for 20 different free trials and don’t keep up with them, such as cancelling them before time is up you will quickly find your credit card full of charges.

Other offers include you actually paying for or buying something and you can get back $30, $50 or more such as the case of BestGlyconutrients. You recieve $160.00 if you order their package of nutrients. However, not completing this offer saves you more money if you consider that a six month’s supply costs $$1099 plus tax and shipping.

They say however that many get these nutrients at no cost but upon further reading they say that because you also enroll in their self-funding program. For instance you sucker two friends or family members into joining and ordering this stuff and you recieve $200 for every person you get to join. Can anyone say pyramid scheme? But recall it’s not easy getting people to join things and your vitamins might not be as “free” as they claim it can be in a couple months.

One offer I tried out was a 12 bottle of wine offer. This is usually over $100 but I could sign up for just $50 plus a free gift which was a wine opener worth over $130. You recieve $30 for completing this offer.

I said ok $50 plus maybe $10 or so for shipping. Completed the offer only to be charged over $80 for a $50 offer. I ended up cancelling it. Plus only afterwards do they tell you that you have to sign up with the same email or you won’t get credited. Needless to say I was not happy. I tried a few more to get a good look around and I think it’s an ok program if you keep a notepad of what you signed up for, the web address, the phone number of where to call and cancel and what card and date to cancel before trial is up.

Another thing I noticed is that nearly all these places only let you call to cancel. You cannot end a free trial online the same way you signed up because they want it to be difficult. Think Aol difficult.

Plus you have to realize you are giving your info to a lot of places that will more than likely sell it. From your email to phone number, name, address and credit card just to make a few bucks. At the end of the day is it worth it? For some yes. Some people are making a couple hundred using different websites that do these offers. However, that’s IF they even pay you. In the case of one such site, I couldn’t cash out to Paypal because there was a big red message saying they were having “problems” putting up the checkout link to Paypal, but of course no problems putting the links for you to do offers.

Then when the link came back, it was only half there. By that I mean you could check out but just to be sure you are a “real person” you have to sign up and be approved for a credit card or do a “free” credit report and then you can cash out.

I am even more weary of these places because some sites like the free credit card report are a little tricky. While you sign up at one site you are than taken to another the real site.

The one I was taken to is a place where you sign up to be part of a discount club and they are as bad as AOL when it comes to cancelling. My mother had accidentally joined it when signing up for something else and they charged her checking account $9.99 for over a year because she couldn’t get it cancelled. She finally closed the account to get rid of them.

So like I said you and some others that are determined can make money, but you have to be careful and keep an eye on things.
