Money out of Scrapbooking

Posted on June 16, 2009 by Evelyn Ilano

I am a homebody, after work, instead of going out, I prefer to stay home rather than roaming around which usually leads to unworthy spending (lol). Of course, staying home would be boring if you just stare and doing nothing. So I came up to realize that I should not waste my time just watching tv. So to make my time useful, I started to clean my room and gather all the things I consider wastes – old pictures, newspaper, magazines and all the small things that should have been in the trash, but upon doing this odd tasks, there something flashed in my mind, instead of tossing these waste, I put them in a basket and sorted it. I was thinking of something to turn these wastes into something useful. After an hour of doing this and that, I came up into a new found craft from my creativity.
I successfully made those old pictures into a new and interesting scrapbook through the aid of old magazines and those strings that supposed to be in the garbage. While staring at my prize in fixing the mess in my room, I felt I got a new job. I started showing it off to my friends as my newly found talent, but amazed as well finding out that this can bring money to me. Since then, my officemates and colleagues asked me to make one for them. Some for a wedding gift (just to be unique), some are just for making their old things worth to be kept. Since then, I didn’t stop in creating my own design for a scrapbook and for anything that could challenge my creativity.
