With the advance of technology, and transportation. We don’t have to worry about scheduling for the shipment gonna take months and months of time. We can keep updated information from the web, and we can constantly get feedback from the other side of the world. We are living at an information age. We can do anything, including business transaction over the internet nowadays.

The shifting is to East Asia. Asia is a place that supplies world’s material, and products. So, majority of suppliers are from East Asia, especially China. The so – called “World Factory”. Basically, you can find majority of our consumer products from China. Such as furniture, clothing, toys, etc…… in the U.S.A. Especially Wal – mart, they imported most of the products from China.

Because of cheap labor, and less expensive materials, the products made from China is a lot less cheaper than other places. We still focus on the quality issue with Chinese manufacturers. Due to many unethical practices on the news. Recently, we have doubt on the safety of their products.

Although it is cheaper to find suppliers from the Asian market, they still have to work on the product safety and quality issue. It became the most regarding issues over time. In the USA domestic market. We should inform them this issue, and educate them to become a better supplier.
