Start A Wholesale Distribution Business
April 30, 2008
A wholesale distribution business can be a profitable venture if done correctly. A wholesale distribution entails you buying products from a manufacturer of goods or another supplier for the goods in which you are interested in selling. You should first identify what products you would want to sell. However, before jumping into selling an item you should conduct thorough market research. Market research can be done in a variety of ways including evaluating competitors, obtaining reports from business journals, researching consumer spending habits, and joining professional business organizations.
Once you have identified the products in which you are interested in selling, the next step would be to identify a supplier source. Otherwise you can search for suppliers for your niche market which can easily be done on the internet. These items can be obtained through your local, state, or county governmental agencies. There are generous profits to be made in this business. You just have to have the right product at the right price. The key to this business is negotiation, and the know how to buy low and sell high.
Pet Bathing Side Biz
April 28, 2008
A friend of mine asked me to bathe her dog. She was feeling ill and the dog really stank. She gave me a little bit of money for helping her out. About a week later, another friend asked if I could help bathe a stray kitty she found. Same thing, I got a little bit of money.
I put an ad in the local paper that I would assist with pet bathing. Since then, I get calls for dogs, cats and even a ferret. This is a good side biz because there is no startup cost. Also, you can just let a few people know and work as little or as much as you want to.
Shop Online and Make Some Ca$h!
April 28, 2008
Everybody loves to shop and save some cash!
With today’s economy, it is not easy for hard working people to pay our
bills, and also enjoy a lot of the finer things in life.
First, we will have to consider our mortage, rent, utility bills, car payments, childcare…you name it! The middle class working person has the hardest way to go.
Once upon a time, I really enjoyed splurging at the mall on my payday. Each day after
my direct deposit showed up into my bank account, I would go directly to the mall, and stock up on everything that I could afford. Then, I would rush back to work to earn some more income, in order to even out the score, and stay one step ahead of my bill collectors.
Alas! Alas! Those good old days are gone! First, I am unable to travel forty miles one day to our nearest mall due to high gas prices. Second, I have the sweet blessing of being able to work from the comfort of my home, and I just can’t tear myself away from my computer.
However, I still love nice things. And I still love to shop.
What is a girl supposed to do? It’s easy! While I was surfing the internet one day, I came across online shopping. I guess that I am one of those suckers that are born every minute.
I was so happy to see all of my favorite shoes, fashions, perfumes and makeup brands, staring me right in the face. All that I needed to do, was to pull out my credit/debit card and have a ball. After I purchased my first item online, I felt like a new woman. However, it was hard for me to stop the process. I continued to shop on a weekly basis. My cash flow was beginning to look pretty pitiful.
I kept surfing the net while I was on my breaks, until I found a way for me to shop and make some money too! Now, I am a happy shopper who is on a mission to share my new side bizness with the world!
If you are in my league and love to shop, unable to go to the mall, just don’t wanna go to the mall, or if you are one of those people who are afraid to leave the house, then just come shop with me!

Not only shop with me, open your own business and earn some cash for that new wig that you have been eyeing. OOPs! That was me eyeing the new wig.
Anyway, make some money and have some fun. You deserve a bite!
Envelope Stuffer Warning
April 28, 2008
Envelope stuffing seems to be a great side business to make money. However, there is a word of caution. Some companies charge a great deal for the supplies. Other companies, require that you advertise for them. This means that you pay for the information booklet on how to get set up. They mail you their flyers. You advertise for them and send the flyers out to addresses that you collect from the advertising. The end result is you waste a great deal of time and make little to no money.
How to Increase Income for Cleaning Business
April 25, 2008
If you are an owner of a residential and commercial cleaning business you could increase your profits by agreeing to clean properties in which the landlord and mortgage holder were forced to conduct an eviction or foreclosure. When renters and homeowners are forced out of their living quarters they normally leave a lot of personal belongings due to the time constraints involved.
As oddly as it sounds people often don’t pay attention to the deadline dates that require them to move. Sometimes it is due to their inability to find other living arrangements in a quick manner and sometimes it is because of the shock of knowing they will have to move. The shock becomes so overwhelming they attempt to try to avoid dealing with the reality of having to move, so they wait until the last minute. When people are compelled to leave in a hurry they often leave apartments, homes, and mobile homes in dirty manner.
If you are a cleaning business owner you can check with your current clients to see if this type of activity is ocurring with them. Also, if you want to acquire new business clients for this type of service you can check with your local county clerk’s office to research the number of evictions and foreclosure which are happening in your community. From this prospect list you can then begin to contact owners of properties to see if they would be interested in this type of service.
Another way to increase profits for your business is to contact apartment building managers and owners to see if they are interested in maid service to their tenants. This is a great idea if you live in a college community. This would be a great way for the apartment owner and manager to get a competitive advantage over their competition by offering maid service. Of course list in your contract the things in which you will not handle and make sure that you have the appropriate insurance to cover your business.
Grant Writer
April 24, 2008
In 2001 I was hired by a national nonprofit organization as the Director of Development. My job was to write and secure grants from federal, state, private donors, and philanthropic organizations. Additionally, I was responsible for directing and managing the direct mail campaigns of the organization. Since I love to write, I decided that I would continue to write grants for nonprofit organizations and businesses who were seeking capital funds assistance or start up assistance.
Contrary to popular belief and those late night commercials which promises individuals and business owners that there are plenty of grants that are available for their ventures. The truth is there are only a few grants which are available to fund for profit entities. Most grants are allocated to governments and nonprofit agencies.
If you are looking for a grant your first step should be to indentify the purpose of the grant. If you were funded $1 million dollars what would you do with the money. Please be advised that funders only allow a small percentage to be used for administrative purposes. You should also have a clear and concise description of your organization’s goals and mission. Lastly, you should also be able to provide to your funder the outcomes that will happen as a result of them giving you a grant.
I provide grantwriting, Request for Proposal(s), and grant search assistance to those who are interested in obtaining a grant. I have worked with both for profit and not for profit entities. It is fun and exciting especially when the grant gets awarded.
Bunny Business
April 24, 2008
I was amazed at what a demand there is for bunnies. Dwarf bunnies seem to do the best. People like to have a small bunny such as the Holland Dwarf or the Netherland Dwarf bunnies to keep as pets.
One neat thing about bunnies is that you can litter box train them. That’s right! Put their little pellets in a small litter box filled with scoop litter. The bunnies will naturally go to the same spot. They are rather picky about their potty area and very easily litter box train.
Instead of raising bunnies to sell, it is easiest to purchase them wholesale. Find a breeder that already has lots of bunnies and use them to get your stock. This will enable you to keep a steady supply and make a nice profit. There is a huge amount of work that goes into breeding and it can get costly. So it’s easiest to simply buy your stock to re-sell.
GIVE AWAY A FREE MONEY GUIDE AND RECEIVE $50 OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
April 23, 2008
Hello friends,
I just have to tell you about the Stealth Money Maker. If
you want to learn how to make money each and every day without
fail you have got to read this guide! Don’t be like me and wait a week before
you even take a look at it. I made that mistake and missed out on an
extra $300.
You can get the free money guide and you can learn how to start
receiving $50 over and over again. This is no joke and it is
really hot right now. That means that it has not become so popular
that people are deleting it. It new and fresh and best of all it works.
One of my dear good friends started out with this last week
and she has been making a consistent $150 every 3 days. Just to think that if
I had listened to her a week ago I would be $300 richer by now. Check
it out now while it’s hot.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about it or if you need some
advice on how to promote it. I am not a believer in just getting referrals. I believe in
teaching others so that we can all grow and learn more. Business is about the people
and what they need. Not so much the product.
Hope to see you there,
Alicia Bodine
Ebay $$
April 22, 2008
Every time I find myself in a financially desperate situation I turn to Ebay. Its the best way to get fast cash without investment. All you need to do is go through your closet, attic or garage and wella instant biz! I once sold a old bird cage that had been in my basement for years for 125.00. Its a double reward because you also get to eliminate some clutter.
The only downside is the insertion fees can really mount up if the item doesn’t sell. The best way to avoid this is to do a search for the item you want to sell and see if he has any bids. Chances are if they couldn’t sell it neither can you.
It’s pretty user friendly and the only tool you really need is a digital camera (don’t even think about posting something without a photo because it just won’t sell.) Its a good idea to stick with small items that you can easily ship because the cost of shipping has really skyrocketed. Obviously no one would want to pay 10.00 dollars for your old B&W TV and then 50.00 shipping ! So think of the overall cost when choosing the items you want to sell.
It’s also a good idea to sign up for a PayPal account because you will get your money instantly. Otherwise you will have to wait for the US mail system to deliver your check then hope it doesn’t bounce. If you want your money even quicker use the BUY IT NOW option, so you may not have to wait for days for the auction to end. The other good thing about BUT IT NOW is you get to fix your price and not run the risk of giving your item away.
So give Ebay a try the next time your scraping the bottom of your purse.
