The answer is yes. Too many people go to a job that they hate everyday and most do it because of the paycheck. Others do it because they are afraid to take the risk of doing what they really want to do and some are simply afraid of trying to start their own business.

Unfortunately I think that if more of us liked what we did for a living then customer service wouldn’t be as bad as it is. A company can claim to have superior service but that crap is being spouted by the bigwigs at the top who have no idea or simply do not care about how their average workers feel. So before you have that nervous breakdown that we both know is coming your way, consider working for yourself.

It will be hard that’s for sure but in the end it might be the best thing you have ever done. One of the great ways to start is to figure out what you do best. Do you enjoy making things such as arts and crafts? Well make some and while you still have the job you hate, try selling it on Ebay.

At this point Ebay is so completely filled with the same things over and over again that unique things will stand out. It could take a while but if all goes well you can find yourself having repeat customers. This isn’t just about Ebay however. You can also start a website and keep 100% of your profits by selling from your own online store.
